Pop-Up Shop: Another Chunky Wool Sweater

Today I have (1) More Chunky Wool Hand-Knitted Sweater For Sale.

This is in very high demand, so jump on it right away!

Price: $80. Brand new.

Size: One Size Available. (Will fit most X-Small, Small, or Medium.)

Shipping: $15. Timeframe is approximately 2 weeks.

These sweaters are made by my favorite knitter in Cuenca, Ecuador. You can see I have one of these myself and the sweater is sooooo thick and warm. It's made with 100% wool and wooden buttons. I do not find the wool to be scratchy, but very soft and comfortable. This really is my favorite sweater I've ever had. It's simply the best for wearing around the house or wearing out the door if I need a bit of warmth. I recommend hand-washing this sparingly, as needed, and line-drying.

To Claim It: Write SOLD in the comments and then send $95 immediately via Paypal to mara@ablogaboutlove.com.

future Pop-Up Shops in the coming days and weeks.***

    1. Hello! Yes - I could ship to Canada or other destinations, but I would need to charge for the full shipping. Not sure what that price would be.... but we could check on that for you. Thanks for writing!

    3. I hope to be able to post more of these! Not sure how quickly the knitter can make them...it's really hit or miss.

I'll just keep posting these whenever I get my hands on more - even if it's after Christmas.

  4. What about the boots you posted before, a while back? I think they are the lace ups pictured here... I'd love a way to contact the maker. Would love a pair for myself and my 3 year old daughter.

    1. Hi Rebbeca! So, these boots are made by an older gentleman in Cuenca. Though it's a VERY humble shop and I don't even think they have a phone - and definitely don't have a site. The sizing with these is also not totally reliable, as they're made by hand - and also Ecuadorian women often have thicker / wider feet, so they make them differently. What size do you normally wear? I've thought about selling these on a pop-up - but I may have to only sell size 8 1/2 so I can verify the size.

    2. I'm a 6, sometimes 6 1/2. I saw that you have some up, lucky gals with 8 1/2.

  6. Hi Mara! (My name is Mara too :) - I would so love this sweater! I am usually a large though so maybe the knitter can be convinced to make one a bit larger in the future?
