Hello, hello – we’re posting this from our room at in the Galapagos. We got here after a long journey through the Andes – up to 14,000 ft. (!) then back down again towards sea level at the coast. We met a dear friend at the airport and made our way to the Galapagos by plane. It has been heavenly to be here. More updates to come when we can get some photos uploaded. But today I had some more fun tips…
-HAVE GIRLS’ NIGHTS & GUYS’ NIGHTS.
There is something flat out rejuvenating
when you get to talk with girls.
Or go to a movie with the guys.
It’s so fun that you inevitably will come home
in a very, very good mood.
Cologne & perfume can excite, if that’s your thing.
It entices your spouse to get closer.
Don’t you think? Lately I’m using organic essential oils.
I absolutely LOVE this one by 21 Drops called Passion
-LEARN TO LET YOUR PARTNER GO.
Let him/her be adventurous, free, exploratory, comfortable in their own skin.
Let go of nagging, worrying, controlling, judging, expecting, distrusting, shaming.
No one likes to feel like they’re in a pressure cooker.
It will absolutely be the elephant in the bedroom.
-TRY MEDITATION TOGETHER.
Do it at home or in a beautiful setting.
Set aside a space for a “reset”; a place to realign.
You will emerge feeling more whole; more at peace;
cleansed of all that troubles you;
more capable of love.
(And crazy full of desire, trust me.
Your reunion just might feel like a honeymoon.)
-NURTURE SOMETHING TOGETHER.
People may think the word “nurture” is a spark reducer.
But I disagree.
Plants, pets, herbs, children, beta fish!
I’ve experienced 4 out of 5.
And they lead to more LOVE and togetherness.
Yes, beta fish!
What’s the last thing that brought some extra love between you and your partner?
