3 More Days – And A Retreat Update

May 1st is the last day to get the early bird discount on one of our U.S. events. (Of course registration still is open for each event up until the day of.)

If you are wanting to come, we hope that you have the courage or finances or support or time off of work or whatever it is that you might need to attend. If you are one of those who isn’t able to make it happen, please contact us. We’d love to still figure out a way to meet you or work with you or help you.

Also, we have a new policy for people who attend our U.S. events. If someone attends an event and they feel it was not helpful to them, we would like to refund their money. (Note: our VT guests would not be refunded for the cost of their accommodations at Snapdragon Inn or the Parrish House.)

Just a reminder, these retreats would be perfect for you if you:
…have had enough of a current challenge and you are ready to be happy!
…want a setting and space to RESET your life and honor a new beginning.
…could use some self care! (Is this not one of the most rare things in life?)
…want to improve the way you experience relationships with your spouse/partner, parents, siblings, bosses, in-laws, children, friends – and even that neighbor that stomps loudly in the flat above.
…want to prepare for a future relationship and learn how to bring the goods to the table!
…need to nip fear in the bud: fear you are broken or that you can’t heal; fear of not being loved; fear of being vulnerable; or fear of not being good enough.
…are experiencing a major life challenge or transition such as divorce, infertility, relationship turmoil or uncertainty and you’d like to get on a good path and handle it all with grace.
…would really like to take a more loving approach to deal with your life, but you don’t know how.
…don’t have a positive support network right now and could benefit from a group effort to heal.
…value life-long learning and personal growth.
With all our hearts, we look forward to meeting you and gathering with you.
We look forward to the amazing things that happen when real life connections happen.
We look forward to helping you feel more happiness in your life.

Wish we could go! We just had a baby three months ago, so aren't quite ready to leave him alone for more than a couple hours. Waving at you from Ogden, UT, as you fly by!

Malissa – I know your name so well. 🙂 Congrats on your baby! Wow – such a wee little one. So fun. Thanks for your comment here. And – I was just thinking that a newborn baby really could be just fine at the event. We certainly wouldn't mind it at all. And there is plenty of space in SLC home for naps or changes, etc. Feel free to write me if you see this – or I'll write you!

Ooooh, that would be so fun! And the scholarships you offer are so so awesome. Unfortunately we don't have the money to get me and my husband (or even just me) there 🙁 I totally understand that you guys need to charge for these wonderful retreats! I would definitely pay big bucks to go to them if I could.

I just read this on one of my favorite blogs (Women in the Scriptures), and it made me think of y'all and the tender love you have for each other:

"I've always loved Hannah's story and have been impressed not only with her faith and her integrity, but also with her relationship with her husband Elkanah. He is exceptionally good and compassionate to Hannah in her trial, telling her, "Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons? " (1 Sam. 1:8) Those words indicate to me that Elkanah was trying to remind Hannah that her worth as a woman was not dependent upon her ability to bear children and that she had innate worth, no matter what her situation. In addition Elkanah was unwavering in his support of Hannah's promise to the Lord to dedicate their son Samuel to the Lord's service in the temple."

Here's me being vulnerable and authentic: I would so much Love to go to one of your retreats! I have learned life-changing skills from what you talk about on your blog, and I just know a retreat would be completely refreshing and delicious to the mind, body, and soul! But! We are self-employed and are constantly stretched to the maximum financially. I saw that you are offering scholarships, but we live in New England, and your VT retreat doesn't qualify for one. So, I'm bummed, but more glad you are doing what you are doing! Thank you for teaching people about happiness 🙂

Hey Melanie, send me and email. The main reason I didn't put one up there is because the lodging is included and it would have been complicated to explain some details in a short post. Send me and email and let's talk 🙂
