Foliage Therapy

Fall in New York has been so glorious and healing to me this year in the moments I have been able to experience it.  I hope you, too, have been able to feel it’s beauty wherever you are.
Today I went walking.  You know how much I love walking.  But in the last few weeks, I actually haven’t gone.  I’d been doing pretty much the minimum during the IVF, which I can tell you is a pathetic way to live long term.  But today, it happened…I made it to the park.  And it felt so incredibly good to be there.  It felt good to feel a bit of my normal routine.
I went from this view from my building…

To this…..

It was very, very good for my soul.
Thank you to ALL of you for your kindness.  We think you are some of the most lovely people in the world.  It makes us so happy to converse with you here.

isn't it amazing what nature can do to soothe our weary and ravaged souls? I'm thinking about you guys and I hope you'll find peace. Seems like you're well on your way. And it's also okay to change direction!

I LOVE nature, we are moving into summer and the warmth and smells are amazing as I roar around town on my scooter.
I wanted to send you my love as I too have been through the arduous journey of two IVF's. I found the the time after the end of the IVF was sad for me as somehow doing all the IVF actions kept hope alive a little more and as the reality of no babies for me and my partner whom I love dearly felt really sad. I always knew we would be ok as we are really good friends and big adventurers and I must say we are ok.
We have investigated adoption and are unsure if it is for us but are putting one foot in front of the other and will follow our intuition and I know that you both will work out your next step for too.
Go gently and soak up the goodness and amazingness of having such a great love in eachother. Debs xx
