Aren't these fabrics amazing? The next two are some of my favorites...
As a New Yorker, you can never have too many bags. That's one thing I noticed when I moved here. EVERYONE was carrying a bag on the train, containing anything they needed to transport for the day. Instead of having cars and trunks to transport things, we have bags.
Also, I'm going to try and get better about taking bags from home to pick up things at the market. I know it's just a little thing and saves a little bit of plastic trash. But every little bit helps.
P.S. Ever since my surgery, I've been LOVING wearing Danny's jeans. He retired this pair so they're all mine now. (I just looked them up and they're the Uniqlo Slim Fit Straight cut. Size 31x34.) I just wear them kind of low & roll up the bottoms. They are SO comfortable. Now if I could just get him to tire of that belt I keep borrowing. :) Also, the shirts from Uniqlo are still my favorite. I never had a white shirt until Danny - he insisted I get one because just loves the way it looks and fits.

LOVE those bags, too! I live in Central PA, so bags around here aren't utilized as much, but when out and about, they are a must have!! :)

ReplyDeleteYes! On days that my husband takes the train, he carries two bags- one for his laptop, and a wool and leather one that I made for him to carry his lunch, glasses, planner, and other odds and ends. Bags are like a car that you carry around with you :)
White shirts and jeans are two great staples. Now in Seattle they charge you for bags at stores, so people are always trying to remember to bring their own. Those bags are great statement pieces.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and all your beautiful, uplifting thoughts. I've found myself noticing yellow more often and trying to share compliments when I think them. And I love that you were on BYU radio! I actually am going there right now:)
ReplyDeleteYour white shirt is perfect, and Uniglo looks like a great site. But do they deliver to the US? How do you get yours?
Thanks! You're a darling <3
I almost thought this picture was of Danny until i noticed your hair was kinda in the picture. Or maybe not, maybe i'm still wrong. Nice bag Mara, or Danny!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with Suzie. World needs more blogs like this one. I just discovered this blog and you are going to see me every now and then. Thanks. I love those bags by the way.
ReplyDeleteI love the individualized cards! They just went into my customised carrier bags cart. I'm sick and don't have the time/energy to make anything for my kiddos, so I appreciate it! :)
