What Love Looks Like

I ended up getting a little sick towards the end of Alt Summit (I can just see it on my face in some of those photos.)  And I’m still recovering here at home.

But I wanted to share with you this short and sweet little video about what love looks like to different people.  This will get you in the mood for celebrating love in all it’s forms this February.

Right now I’m feeling some love big time from Danny as he just made me a ginger bath and is taking good care of me and making me hot tea and soup and giving me zinc.  🙂

What has love looked like for you this week?

Mara and Danny! It was so wonderful meeting you at Alt. You are such inspirational people and it is so refreshing to meet a couple who are so passionate about love! Consider me a follower for life!

    Dear Mara and Danny,

I just recently came upon your blog and I absolutely love it. So many of your posts have been something I can relate to. I am one of those people who thinks about and observes everything. In severe detail. And I disect situations until my amazing husband doesn't know what will make me happy, or throw me off. The one blog you posted about taking control of your own happiness hit me like a tonn of bricks. I've been an emotional rollercoaster for years to the point where I blamed it on my birth control medications. Going off of those did not seem to help the situation so then I started to assess my relationship with my husband and how happy I was in it. But really, I myself have been the problem. Maybe not the problem, but the culprit if you will. I need to stop blaming other things, other people, and start making it happen for myself. Once I can start doing that, I can contribute to other people's happiness, too! Instead of waiting around for people to come and make me happy. As Kid President said on his youtube video… "this is life people, we've got air going through our nose, we've got a heartbeat! That means it's time to do something!"

Your blog continues to be support and motivation for me to do more, give more, and be more.
