Bitten Cheeks (& Lips)

 cranberry lip and cheek tint

I’m so excited to share with you one of my most favorite products I’ve ever used to date.  I have been trying to go all natural with the products I use.   And I was having a hard time finding a make-up company that I could trust to be free of chemicals…and also one that was reasonably priced.

And then one day I discovered 100% Pure while walking by a store in NYC.  Their products really, really are all pure.  Even their make-up dyes are made from fruit and vegetable pigments.  Also, the prices are significantly less than some of the fancy brands out there.

I tried this cheek & lip stain (in the color CRANBERRY) and have been in LOVE with it ever since.

-CHEEKS:  I just make two circus looking dots on the apples of my cheeks and rub it in.  It’s SO easy.  No brush needed (brushes can easily get full of dirt and bacteria, anyway.)

-LIPS:  For a quick fix, I sometimes use the tint on my lips as well.  It’s so moisturizing that even if I’m wearing a different lipstick, I sometimes use this stain underneath.  It’s even vegan and gluten free.

**Added:  I was wearing the cheek stain in the photos here.**

On some days, I can get away with only TWO products on my face (talk about the fastest routine ever):

1.  Mascara.
2.  The cranberry stain on my lips and cheeks.

Then off I go to the farmer’s market or the corner store (New York is all about our corner stores.  🙂

Here are some of the other colors…

I hope you can try one of these!  I think you’ll be sold!  (FYI, they’re $15, but it seems like this thing will last forever and ever.)

I recently heard that the average woman eats 3 lbs of lipstick in her life time. Purity is important!

These sound good enough to eat! I think I might have to treat myself to some. Thanks for the heads up!

Hi Mara! I love 100% Pure body products. I didn't realize they have makeup as well. Can't wait to try it out! Are you aware of Skin Deep Cosmetics Database (put out by Environmental Working Guide)? It's a website that allows you to enter in pretty much any beauty product and it will rate the toxicity level. You are probably aware of it but I just thought I would share in case you weren't. Happy Sunday! XO
