I couldn’t resist. Here’s one more flash mob that a reader sent along to me. You will just love it. In this one the Copenhagen Philharmonic surprised passengers on a Copenhagen Metro train by playing Griegs Peer Gynt. I think our Buddhist would love this for his commuting tips. 🙂 If only every commuting day could be like this.
And here’s something funny…I was a little late to i-pods and headphones of any kind. I was in my late twenties, you guys, before I had an i-pod. Crazy, I know. My first husband was wise enough to know that I should have one and even though I always said, “No – I’m ok – I don’t think I need one”, he bought me one anyway. I was on the train and later walking through New York City when I first used my i-pod….and it felt no less than magical. Watching this little film reminds me a lot of what it felt like. It actually changed my life at the time, which was full of very sad days like this and this and also full of some anxiety due to my experience in Manhattan on 9/11. Having music in my ears as I walked through this crazy city healed my soul in ways I will never forget.
Hope you’re all having a great weekend so far!
