Where's Danny?

A few readers have asked about Danny.  They've wondered how this can be a blog by a couple if Danny does so little and doesn't post much anymore.  Well, dear readers - - haha - you would just laugh if you could see Danny and I working together behind the scenes to make this blog happen.  Danny is ever so much involved.  And it's really quite sweet to see him invested in it as much as I am.

Here's the low down...

Danny does have a full-time job so his time is definitely more limited than mine.  We did start this blog thinking that he would have more time to write posts.  But...things have evolved quickly.

Since we have been running our classes - and keeping up with all that goes into that - his "free time" in the evenings has quickly been diminished.  Likewise, he has helped me with so many tech issues, it's not even funny (it's kind of tricky getting posts out on multiple websites.  And - ahem...I'm not exactly the most tech saavy person around here.)  He also collaborates with me a lot on topic ideas and usually reads and edits nearly every post that I send out.  But best of all, he helps with responding to the thousands of emails that we get from readers.  Oh man, Danny is so cute and really does put his heart and soul into this effort.  I'm so glad, too, because - you guys!  I feel immense guilt for not being able to get back to everyone!  :(  I'm so, so sorry to leave so many hanging.  We both try our best and will keep trying every day to keep up.  In the meantime, we send all of you lots of love and gratitude for all the goodness that you've sent our way!!!  It means the world to us every day and really gives us the fuel we need to give up so much time for this effort.  We can't thank you enough.....

So - even though you may not see some written posts from Danny these days, I can't tell you how much he supports every ounce of this effort.  We're both busting our tails to get these posts out.  It takes a lot out of us both and it is a huge undertaking and it would be really hard to do this alone.  I couldn't be more grateful, humbled, and delighted to work on this endeavor with Danny.

(He's making me fish and corn on the cob right now as I write this.  :)

Hopefully Danny will be able to send out some posts soon...in the meantime, if you haven't read his previous posts, I highly, highly recommend them...(they're SO good. :)

Do you remember any of these posts?  Any favorites?

  3. I actually never wondered where Danny was. I figured you were taking the lead on the visible stuff and he was supporting and doing his part in other ways. But I had to tell you that I laughed (happy, supportive laugh!) at this post b/c the pictures don't match the text. We are learning how busy he is (and of course we knew he was) but he's looking so laid back and chilled out in the photos!! :)

I second Chantel, you have had a huge impact in a really short amount of time and there is no doubt that takes two! Keep up the good work!!
