Our Summer Must Have

So, Danny has been telling me about these chairs that he loves.  They’re chairs to take to the park, camping, etc.  We are major park goers around here.  And so I couldn’t be happier that he ordered us these chairs.

Last night was our first chance to try them out.  We headed into listen to the NY Philharmonic perform in Central Park.

They are as light as feather.  (We hang them on our coat rack at home).

They fold flat.

You can ROCK back in forth in them, people.

I couldn’t believe how comfortable they are.

AND, they’re affordable.

The concert went until way after 10:00 pm.  By the time the finale fireworks show started, I saw couples sitting back to back on their blankets as they were so uncomfortable.  But not us.  We were lounging and rocking and loving our seats like two little dorks.  The people sitting next to us told us they were jealous.

What are your summer must haves?  (I always love a good recommendation!)

Loving that your hubby is wearing Toms. Those are my summer must haves!

And iced coffee. Lots of iced coffee.

Danny loves his Toms 🙂 I've resisted getting some and he teases me about it, so he smiled when you posted this. 🙂

I have one of those chairs left over from my college, backcountry camping days and I love it! My non-camping husband makes fun of my little chair, but it cocoons your back and tush perfectly! 🙂

Apparently my aunt's ex-boyfriend invented those chairs way back in the day. Crazy, eh? But that means our family has been enjoying them for over 20 years and yes, they are fantastic!

Head lamps. They are perfect for camping, caving, early morning or night jogging. Seriously so useful and you feel pretty legit wearing them.

Very cool idea. My aunt and uncle are major campers and they always had those. And she'd read to us in the car on road trips (when we were all crammed in their awesome vintage VW bugs)

Ooh those chairs are awesome! I love anti-gravity chairs. Not exactly super portable, but they're so perfect to relax (and sometimes fall asleep) in 🙂

I've been trying to convince her of Toms for almost two years…but she won't break. I guess I'll be the only one in our marriage enjoying their awesomeness 🙂

Aww, at this point she probably won't cave, but she doesn't know what she's missing. Sad face.

Ha! Maybe you can introduce her to their new line of ballet flats. They're so much more girlie 🙂

Hi Mara and Danny! I know this is a super old blog post, but I've been looking everywhere for these chairs; the Amazon link no longer works. Do you happen to know what they're called? Thanks so much! Michelle

They are called Crazy Creek chairs. You can ck their website. We get the extra tall ones due to our height. Also, they have different levels of price. The ones here are the least expensive model. They have others that are more appropriate for hiking. Enjoy!! They are amazing!!
